Neovia Logistics Moves Headquarters From Illinois To Dallas Fort Worth

Illinois-based Neovia Logistics Services will be moving its head offices to Irving, Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) by November 2013.

Neovia’s headquarters have been in Downers Grove, Illinois since 1986, a legacy from its former days as Caterpillar Logistics Services. It rebranded to Neovia in November 2012.

With the company ramping up growth, the search for new premises had Neovia looking at different cities in the US.

“The DFW region now ranks as the fourth largest U.S. metro, with a well-educated, multi-cultural labor force,” said Neovia CEO Jos Opdeweegh. “As one of the top logistics hub cities in the United States, Dallas has a world-class international airport, the second largest railroad system in the nation, and an outstanding highway infrastructure.”

Neovia executed a 46,000+ square foot lease over a 10-year term at 6363 N. State Highway 161 in Las Colinas Corporate Center.  The company will be relocating and creating more than 225 new jobs for the city and region, many of them white collar, executive positions. Plans are underway to conduct a job fair and to post openings online and on social media. Neovia plans to be fully operational in Irving by year-end 2013.
