Neovia Extends Relationship With Husqvarna Group

Neovia Logistics Services, formerly known as Caterpillar Logistics Services, announced the renewal and extension of its relationship with Husqvarna Group.

“We are pleased to announce this partnership renewal and are committed to continually create value and help Husqvarna’s business perform even better,” said Jos Opdeweegh, Chief Executive Officer of Neovia.

“We are very happy to sign with Neovia as a business partner,” said Peter Fischer, General Manager of Husqvarna. “Husqvarna Group aims to provide excellent service to our customers which means products are delivered quickly and accurately. Our business is quite complex so to do this at a reasonable cost is a challenge to logistics firms. Neovia was the best choice among many.”

The partnership between Neovia and Husqvarna began in 1997 with an agreement to provide warehousing, special services, transportation administration, VAT and intrastate reporting services in the 18,000 square meter distribution center in Metz, France. The new agreement extends this relationship into 2016 which enables Neovia to better align their logistics solutions to Husqvarna’s business.

The Husqvarna Group is the world’s largest producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors. They are also the European leader in consumer watering products and one of the world leaders in cutting equipment and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries.
