Pat Olney joined Neovia Logistics as Chief Executive Officer in August 2016. He will lead Neovia with a focus on profitable growth, customer satisfaction, operational excellence and the ongoing development of the company’s One Neovia culture and processes.
Prior to joining Neovia, Pat served as Chief Operating Officer of TRW Automotive and before that as President and Chief Executive Officer of Volvo Construction Equipment. He had an 18-year tenure at Volvo and held several key executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations.
Pat began his career at Price Waterhouse and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He also holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business, London, Canada.
As Neovia's CFO, Michael is responsible for all financial activities of the company including investor relations, reporting, accounting, budgeting, planning, tax, debt financing, financial M&A activity, banking, and insurance. He joined the company in September 2015.
Before joining Neovia, Michael served as the Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal a private, global professional services firm. Before that, he was a CFO with Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. a recognized leader in global air freight. Michael is an accomplished senior financial executive with more than 25 years of experience. His experience as a financial executive has spanned numerous industries, including information technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Michael majored in Chemical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He earned his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University in the City of New York.
Kit Boyd is Neovia’s Chief Operations Officer, responsible for operations and service delivery across the company.
Kit recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Logistics with Ingram Micro, a $45 billion Fortune 100 company and the world's largest omni-channel distribution provider of information technology products. At Ingram Micro, he was responsible for leading a team of more than 7,000 associates and for optimizing an $800 million warehousing and transportation network.
Before joining Ingram, Kit was responsible for warehousing and transportation at Ecolab, a $5 billion Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company. Earlier in his career, Kit worked for Hewlett-Packard and Compaq Computer, gaining hands-on experience in account management, procurement, engineering, planning, manufacturing, customer service and distribution. He also served in the United States Air Force, where he spent the majority of his career leading operational teams involved in the launch of our nation's satellite assets. Kit is a member of professional groups including the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
Kit holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Chapman in Orange California.
Sven has global responsibility for commercial business development, supply chain solutions, implementations and marketing.
Before joining Neovia, Sven served as the Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sales & Marketing and Member of the Executive Committee for Panalpina Management Ltd, Switzerland. He also served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Intelligence within Global Customer Solutions of Deutsche Post World Net (DHL). Before DHL, he worked for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as Managing Consultant and Head of Planning & Logistics Central Europe to lead various strategy projects for Multinational Customers, turn around and optimization projects in particular for Logistics companies. Prior to the above employments Sven has worked in various Management positions including a Managing Director Position and Executive Vice President for Thyssen Haniel in South Korea.
Sven has a Bachelor's degree in business administration and logistics from Frankfurt University.
James has global responsibility for human resources operations including organization development, talent management, learning, employee engagement, benefits and payroll. He has served in his role since July 2015.
Before joining Neovia, James served as the Senior Vice President of Talent Management and Diversity at McKesson. He brings over 20 years of human resources experience, across multiple industries and fortune 20 companies. James also served with distinction as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
James holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University.
Zach is responsible for all legal matters worldwide including contracts, governance, compliance, M&A, capital markets and risk management. He joined Neovia in July of 2015.
Prior to joining Neovia, Zach has been the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Compliance Officer at both public and private companies. He was also a corporate attorney in private practice representing venture and private equity funds and companies in a broad range of industries. Before becoming an attorney, Zach was an engineer with Hewlett Packard.
Zach holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
Jeff Shorts is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of technology experience in corporate leadership and consulting services. For the past 11 years, Jeff has focused his consulting efforts in M&A with private equity, establishing stand-alone entities from international carve-out purchases in manufacturing and healthcare. As part of his efforts, he has traveled extensively in Europe, South America and Asia. Prior to moving into consulting, Jeff held senior technology leadership positions with firms such as Bausch & Lomb, Lucent Technologies, and WebMD where he lead numerous successful enterprise projects and major transformation efforts.
Jeff is deeply committed to providing superior customer service leading to extraordinary customer satisfaction numbers. He majored in Computer Technology and is a graduate of Youngstown State University, holding minors in Accounting and Business Management.
